General requirements
To be eligible for admission to Boricua College a prospective student must be at least seventeen, and not older than seventy years of age; have a working knowledge of English; be a high school graduate, or have the equivalent of a high school diploma; pass a written entrance examination, and an oral interview examination given by the faculty. The College accepts only full-time students. It is recognized, however, that most Boricua students must seek employment or continue to be employed at least part-time throughout their undergraduate studies. Indeed, such employment in the form of supervised internships and clinical residence makes up a vital part of the College's educational program. A prospective student must therefore be in a position, with assistance from the Faculty Facilitators, to build all aspects of his or her life-course-work, home, family, community, and employment-into an integrated program of educational growth and development.
Program Entrance Requirements
The College's general admission requirements allow a prospective student to enter the Generic Studies/Core Curriculum program. However, entrance into the specialized Bachelors and Masters degree programs may require a student to fulfill additional requirements.
