Boricua College submitted a grant application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the development of a Micro-Economic Center with the goals, programs and activities focused in business development, education and training as core functions. The grant was approved and partially funded for the budget years 2002-03 to 2004-05 (3 years total)
Major Goals:
The project has two main activities:
Activity One: Small Business Development
The focus of this activity is for the development of small businesses in targeted neighborhoods in Brooklyn, New York.
